CLIMATE The overall climate of these islands is humid tropical monsoon type. The mean annual rainfall in this zone ranges from 1715 to 1934 mm of which 80% is distributed from May to November. Mean annual temperature ranges from 27.3 to 27.9 degree Celsius. The annual potential evapo-transpiration demand is about 1480 mm. The length of dry period ranges between 5 and 6 months ( ie., November to April). |
